Wrong way to protect my Harley display

I was trying to save money by purchasing this product instead of a Harley Davidson screen protector. First, the cut corners that the OEM has are not on the product which would make replacement/removal very difficult. In addition, the film is very thin. Just not at the risk of damaging the HD Boom Entertainment System screen in the future.
