So eager and excited to receive this MHDMAG Double Sided Fishing Magnet with 65FT Rope and Gloves. 860lbs Combined Pulling Force.we live in Arizona.the day of delivery it was 112 degrees.product was delivered at 8pm at night after going out for delivery at 11:30a .so no doubt it sat all day in hot vehicle.when we took it out of double boxed box it was very warm to the touch.found out heat can 'kill' these magnets.not much strength to it.our 1" rare-earth 'fridge' magnet had more pull & grip. But our first mistake was not realizing/noticing that this item was non-returnable. Painful lesson to learn. Next, mistake was not reading the reviews.we saw other people had the same experience of a 'weak' magnet. So it's a risk you take.seems some people are fortunate to get a strong one and others like us get the defective ones.
