Review on 🚗 ZEAK 3500 lb. Advanced 12V DC Electric Winch, Waterproof Off Road, Synthetic Rope, Mount, for Sports Cars, ATV by Demetrius Young

The package arrives undamaged which is always a good sign. The rocker cable is 8 feet long. The connection of the rocker switch cable to the control box is a screw connection, so that there is no possibility of confusion if the connection is correct. I measured the length of the synthetic cable at 49 feet 6 inches. The cable does NOT screw to the spindle, it goes through the hole in the spindle and the cable wraps onto the connector exiting on the opposite side where 6 inches is wasted. The power cable goes from the control box to the battery, the length is 67 inches. Electrical wires are labeled and motor connectors are color coded, making wiring a breeze. Very important note: The "circuit breaker" supplied does not match the picture in the description, they offer an in-line fuse configuration with two parallel 40A fuses, but the terminals are open and can easily be shorted out if they are not are protected. The mounting screws are zinc plated and only 5 screws are included, not 8 as shown. Only three 1.5" screws are included. I will be replacing all of the screws with long 5/16" x 3/4" stainless steel screws to attach the winch to the mounting bracket. Hardware to attach the mounting plate to the intended end is not included. See. Electrical terminals are too small to fit on the mounting studs of a car battery. The draw rate is much faster than the spool draw rate. I added an image to the page in the manual that describes the duty cycle, very important information. I contacted the seller and he responded within 12 hours suggesting fixes but parts would take weeks as all parts were shipped from China. I will update this review in a month, the product will be widely used with the start of the hunting season. Update September 30, 2019: I have used this winch to load/unload my 14ft aluminum boat onto a truck 6 times with no winch issues. Plain PVC single gang duplex and then added "empty" duplex cap, total cost $0.75. It's not waterproof in any way, but it won't short out in the back of a truck.
