I bought this bag before a trip to Las Vegas. Having read some articles I was a little concerned with carrying my purse. This backpack was perfect. Not only can you "wear" as a backpack but you can utilize the shoulder strap and carry as a purse. The main zipper compartment is accessed from the backside, and will carrying as a backpack is against your back, so no one can enter it. The two front pockets have hidden zippers. It was small enough like a purse, but large enough to use as a backpack. One day I had my lightweight jacket, wallet, handsanitzer, sandals and my husbands sweatshirt in the bag. I would highly recommend it for any trip. Very compact and secure backpack/purse.
