Review on π§ WARN 98380 Service Kit - Pinion Gear: Ensuring Top-notch Performance by Adam Nelson
This gear is replaced with a spline gear for the motor spline shaft.
I upgraded my old 8274 motor to an XP motor in the rebuild and it has a splined shaft. I haven't had a chance to use it yet except for testing. fits well with the outfit
