I welded this into my Jeep Cherokee to replace an old muffler and wanted something quiet. This seemed like a good direct seat and was quiet. The inlets and outlets were small and the inlets/outlets could have been bigger, but I didn't mind the performance. However, after just a few weeks of using it on my Jeep, I saw where it was leaking at every seam. At idle it sounded a little louder than the muffler I replaced. Maybe because it's leaking at the seams. Save money and buy a slightly better muffler
