This is a great chair. I have had four back surgeries and am in chronic back pain. This chair has great lumbar support. The negatives you read about in other reviews are valid - the arms slide forward when you lean on them, for example, but overall, it's a great comfortable chair. The only other chair I considered was the X-chair, but the cost drove me away. I used an Aeron chair for about 15 years until it finally broke beyond repair. This seat is a fraction of the cost and sits just about as well!
