So these containers are a bit smaller than I expected. I had to look at the actual sizes of all three. Two are very small. We used these two for barbie shoes and accessories in one and lol dolls in the other. The largest works for their adult barbies. I thought the largest should be the size of a toy box, but it's similar in size to a mini toy box. They work great for what they are. I can't say they will work for anything else. I agree, but it's my own fault for not checking the measurements before purchasing.
