If you are expecting an OEM look like the picture in this listing you might be disappointed. Casting the body is no longer the same. Some screws are not painted. The splined shaft is not coated as shown in the photo. It certainly fits, but it's distorted in my opinion. The company's announcement states they are in TN, but the box is unmarked (no logo) and has a photocopy and hand-cut inspection receipt from the Chinese manufacturer, which looks doubtful. I returned it and didn't install it. Worried the unfinished bolts and shaft would eventually rust (starter just off the bottom). Also, the finish is black but doesn't match the engine case (smooth semi-gloss vs. flat textured). It should be assumed that the product supplied will match the photographs which come from the OEM or OEM part. They advertise with "Made to OEM standards". Would definitely look out of place on a bike compared to an OEM starter. I would not have bought it if it was exactly what was shown in the photos in the ad. The launch location on the Pobeda cruisers is highly visible and important.
