Review on Renewed Lenovo Legion 5 Gaming Laptop: 15.6" 144Hz, AMD Ryzen 7-4800H, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, RTX 2060 6GB, Phantom Black by Quan Tran (Louis Trn ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

Bought version with 4800h, 16GB, 256SSD, GTX 1650, 60Hz 100% srgb I immediately added another fast 512GB Samsung to the second NVME slot and turned out to be an almost perfect laptop for work. Thinkpad, etc. with such a processor is not yet on sale, so even with a larger budget at the moment there is nothing better to take. Has some pros Ryzen 4800h is very powerful. To work with the full Microsoft programming stack + heaps of chrome tabs and so on, it fits perfectly. I don’t play new games, but old and classic ones give out very good fps. Connectors on the back. No noise, no heat. Quality build. Cons below: Disassembling to change memory, etc. is a chore and you have to do it very carefully - there are no hatches for quick access. If you hurry, you will break the plastic latches. I would like more metal in the design. The keyboard is pleasant for typing, but the key layout is not the most comfortable. Problems with Linux (touchpad, lighting, sometimes problems with graphical installation, etc.). In the new version of Ubuntu from April 21, everything should work already. For those who really need to already have patches, etc. Not the brightest screen (compared to the business and premium segment is weak).
