Review on 🔧 Airaid Throttle Body Spacer 200-512-1 for 99-06 Silverado 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0L Engines by Isaac Tutt

I looked at them for a while and decided to give it a try. Installation took about 1 hour with basic tools. The step-by-step instructions included in the package are clear and easy to follow. After 15 years and 190,000 miles on my 2001 GMC Sierra with a 5.3 liter engine, I also decided to replace the throttle body gasket. The cost was less than $5. Most reviews say you don't have to, and I agree, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I highly recommend that you also get a can of carburetor cleaner and clean the inside of the throttle body. Found a lot of growths on me. In terms of performance, I didn't notice any significant difference when towing either, but the claimed 3-4 hp. in everyday driving they are not so noticeable. I don't track my mileage so I'm not sure if it's increased. I would only wish for a more significant increase in performance, but it is not. I have the feeling that the engine runs a little smoother.
