Review on Portable Soil Sampler Probe - Contractor Grade Stainless Steel Core Sampling Tool - 12 Inch Compact Size With Kit Test Bags - Garden Lawn Farm Golf Course by Bill Sorenson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Total waste of money

Like some other reviews state, the inside of the tool is incredibly rough and holds the dirt. The cut on the side of my probe wasn't straight and the first time I put the tool into the soil, the whole tool snapped in half as there was a weak spot.

Pros
  • It could use a handle but I added a plastic one on the end and it worked perfectly.
Cons
  • Stainless steel core may become dull over time and reduce effectiveness

Cheap. Works. I attached a longer handle to it. I don’t grid sample with it. Just pull randoms on new ground or transitioning land. Pulled 50 so far with it and worked good. #defundthemedia #stopthesteal
