Review of 3" Gimbal Dimmable LED Downlight with J-Box, 7W (50W Eq), 500lm, Airtight PLUS: These are the nicest downlights the there is i was found they look very expensive and not plastic like other products in this price range they look better than the photo i am very happy with the look i was worried that with only 500 lumens they wouldn't would be bright enough. I installed 6 units in my kitchen and there is enough light. They should be a bit brighter, preferably 600-700lm. Very easy to install. The quick connectors are very tight. They are transparent so you can see know if your cable is fully connected The junction box is nicely designed and makes installation easier CONS: There is a small problem with a design flaw The springs are mounted on the outside of the body, so the hole must be 3, 5 inches to make room for the springs. . The springs must be embedded in the body. The instructions are printed so small that I had to use a magnifying glass. The paper was the size of a playing card. It would not cost anything to print instructions larger. I don't understand why I see this so often in products. Installation instructions are not required, everything is very simple!
