Floppy Cheap Plastic Farce

This product was developed with centimeter precision. The engine block is made of plastic and swings on a rod. The fan cover is plastic, and if you hit it, the outer part will fall off; it doesn't close securely. It is so fragile that any real contact can destroy it. The blade is made from a soft thermoplastic, and some uncut plastic molding burrs are likely the cause of some of the noise complaints. The base is made of plastic and is not attached to the pole. So when you take the rod to move the fan, it just comes out and the rod wiggles in the hole. There is no handle to move the base, you have to try to get your nails under the edge. The height adjustment yoke is a two-handed joke as the lower and upper links are not attached to the base or motor. So how do you hold on while tightening that slippery plastic collar? You remove the motor and then the rod as they both come off freely. Because the fan motor is not attached to the pole and has very little depth in the socket, it can easily fall off the pole when moved. It's cheap, blows out air, and won't fall off after installation. But it shocks me that so many people think this is an acceptable quality product. I feel like I live in the twilight zone.
