Description of 🌬️ Lasko 1820 18″ Elegance & Performance Adjustable Pedestal Fan, White with Oscillating Movement and Tilt-back Fan Head, 2.3

3 Quiet, Energy-Efficient Speeds - allows this free standing pedestal fan to provide a cooling breeze around the home or home office. With a portable design, this fan is ideal for the bedroom, living room, or near your desk. Low, medium, and high speeds make this fan well suited around the whole house. Adjustable Height & Tilt-back Head - give you the ability to direct the cooling breeze right where you need it. The fan's stand or pedestal, adjusts up or down changing the fan's height from 38 to 54.5 inch while the tilt-back head lets you aim the air towards the floor, ceiling, or anywhere in between. Widespread Oscillation - describes the action of the fan head moving from side to side to blow air throughout the area. Oscillation allows for the fan to provide ventilation for a wide area. This makes the fan great for larger spaces. Blue Plug Patented Safety Fuse Technology - this built-in safety feature places a fuse directly in the plug of the power cord. If the fuse detects a potentially hazardous electrical fault it will cut off electric current to the fan, preventing a potential safety hazard. Simple No Tools Assembly - means you'll have your fan assembled in no time. Simply follow the included instructions to assemble the base mount to the extension pipe, fan blades and grill and you're done. This fan is both metal and plastic. The motor and other parts are metal, while other parts are plastic.

I like its sound that lulls me to sleep

Powerful fan, even at low speed. I love the sound it makes to lull me to sleep. Just the right volume. It vibrates smoothly, like some fans. I would buy again. Attractive design. It doesn't come with a remote control, which isn't important to me since it's right next to the bed for driving air at night. If he had had a remote control, I would have lost it anyway. We are currently tracking 7 remote controls, 8 computer and phone chargers, two iPhones, iPads, two computers, 5 cats and more. I…

Great fan for the money. Moves air with moderate noise

Great fan for the price. All the oscillating pedestal fans I've ever owned have been Laskos and none of them have let me down. This 18 inch fan moves a lot of air even at low speed, but if you need hurricane blades around your house, high speed can help. Of course, it will sound like a turboprop is next to your head. but you have plenty of airflow (a low setting produces a totally forgivable hum, which is nice if you like white noise while you sleep). We've never had any problems. If it makes…

Sounds like a small plane

Bought because it was cheap and had good reviews. For the price it does what you would expect; There is nothing to write home about. There are no frills with this fan. It is very easy to assemble (took me about 10 minutes). There are a few things to consider before purchasing this fan - it is very loud. The fan is very powerful, so even at the lowest speed it sounds like a small airplane. When it's up, it sounds like a wind tunnel in your room. Also, the power cord is very short. My outlet is…

Good but not as good as the first

After using this fan for several days I had to downgrade to 3 stars. The reason is that even though I screwed the knob as tight as I could, the fan loses height as it oscillates. This is totally unacceptable. Also, the motor has a certain annoying hum and is a lot louder than the one I bought a few years ago. Now I am neutral towards this fan. It's a shame that Lasko couldn't keep up with the quality of this product. I liked the Lasko 18" fan so much that I bought another one for my second…

Floppy Cheap Plastic Farce

This product was developed with centimeter precision. The engine block is made of plastic and swings on a rod. The fan cover is plastic, and if you hit it, the outer part will fall off; it doesn't close securely. It is so fragile that any real contact can destroy it. The blade is made from a soft thermoplastic, and some uncut plastic molding burrs are likely the cause of some of the noise complaints. The base is made of plastic and is not attached to the pole. So when you take the rod to move…

Dangerous Design - Best in Home Fans

TLDR: CHEAP FAN, SAFETY HAZARD - ESPECIALLY FOR YOUNG CHILDREN Bought this fan and was initially happy with it, poorly suited during surgery despite some of the cheap plastic components . Assembly. I switched it on and felt it had good utility at a relatively low price. The first irritations came at night with the fan when the cheap plastic started to rattle. The fan is already quite loud, which made it difficult to fall asleep. A few days later there was a big disappointment that made me write

Inexpensive basic fan with good performance

Update: This fan still works great after a year. No complaints. And I feel like I have to go back to the noise mentioned in many reviews. This fan just doesn't make any noise unless you find the sound of rushing air loud, which is what the fan does. As for the noise of the engine or the blades, this is not the case. After careful research I bought a higher quality Rowenta fan for $120. It worked flawlessly and quietly, which was important to me. Three years later, for no apparent reason, he…
