Review on Ceramic Whetstone Sharpening Workstone QA 0124 - Optimal Tool for Precise Blade Sharpening by Redfish Rosenhoover

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Worth the money, serves its purpose.

This is an effective sharpening stone that I use to make the razor blade of my benchmade knife. This is a good option if you don't want to spend $200 on a bunch of different stones. It's not ideal, if I had another stone with a coarser grit it would speed up the process and a very high grit stone would be good for that high gloss finish. Other than that, it's not worth the money and is all most people really need. As others have pointed out, it arrived bruised around the edges. The packaging is defective and the stone is banging back and forth on the holder during shipping. Be careful when using it, the material is a bit soft and your blade will gouge if you don't keep the right angle. Also, it can slide across the table if you press hard, so be careful!
