    Great company great stone

The price was right, the stone did not disappoint and the company came forward and corrected the situation they were aware of and I was very impressed with their approach. I will definitely be getting my next stones from them.

Does not paint over hard steel but good for finishing

1000 grit not suitable for harder steel. So I bought a Shapton 320 for edging and used 1000/3000 for finishing. This isn't a splash and go, you need a Nagura stone. I use an old rock that I fattened up.

It's not ideal, if I had another stone with a coarser grit it would speed up the process and a very high grit stone would be good for that high gloss finish. Other than that, it's not worth the money and is all most people really need. As others have pointed out, it arrived bruised around the edges. The packaging is
