I'm 5'1" on a beautiful day and I realized that all the cupboards AND the microwave above the stove in my new apartment were out of my reach! I have various back and knee issues but this 4 inch baby is EXACTLY what I needed! It's sturdy and big enough that I feel safe in it. Now I can SEE INTO the mic and get to the 2nd shelf. I have measured the cabinet doors and they are just CLEAN when I need to open them. If I need to move it to another location it's very light and when I don't need it it can be put on its side for storage without getting in the way too much. I've never tried getting it into a car, but it would probably be fine for that, except you may need someone else to pick it up and put it in the car/truck after you get in. There's a pen on it or something, if you're interested. I don't find anything negative about this product (except that the surface is quite uneven and uncomfortable for bare feet - no problem with slippers or shoes). Don't hesitate to grab this - it's easy to climb on and off, just choose a height that works for you and will clean your closets etc wherever you use it!
