A kite 4 stars, a kite 1 star. Took the kids to the beach with these kites this weekend. My daughter's kite was good - decent height, swinging left and right at times which was nice. The second kite barely reached 20 feet without distraction. My son was very disappointed. I checked that the strings were correct and not tangled. After some analysis I found that the ends of the center baffle were curling up which was causing the problem. The position of the sewn loop differed from the first kites. This is a quality issue that's hard to fix when it costs $14. But the fact is that it didn't fly well and let my son down on the first good day of the summer.
