Review on Pump Sentry 822 PS- Ensuring Sump Pump Efficiency during Emergencies with Sec America by Darrin Lucas

I moved to a new house last year (3 years). It's on a beautiful pond. When the pump failed this spring, my basement was partially flooded. I was panicking trying to figure out what I would do if I lost power because this often happens during a storm (we have these in Minnesota) and the pump shuts off very often at that time because the water table is very high . A normal generator would not turn on automatically and if I wasn't home this could be a problem. The Watchdog brand pump with all the bells and whistles I installed when it flooded worked for an hour before dying so I am suspicious of this brand now. It took me more time assembling the shelf it sits on than hooking up the hardware. The marine deep cycle battery must be purchased separately, so the cost of the entire installation was about $800. About half the cost of my franchise. Thank you pump guard for this product!
