When we moved in a few years ago we were cleaned like we were preparing for ascension. My old roster fell victim to these efforts. We've had many roast nights without our trusty roaster and it never turned out the way we like it. Did we cry at those dinners? May be. Like a repentant ex, we realized our mistake and started looking for a replacement. Cast iron enamel pans are too heavy and if the enamel coating cracks, these pans can rust. The non-stick coating makes me nervous about the chemical coating on the pans. This pot is lightweight, the lid works well for convection cooking and isn't too slippery like non-stick products. I am happy with my purchase.
