I have a rabbit who likes the taste of rubber. including cords! Since this is a major safety issue for all parties (buns, string, humins) I needed something to cover the source of the strings. While there are many products that protect the cords themselves, the bulky area next to the outlet is also an issue if you're covering the cords for safety. This product is worth it. I actually turned mine upside down so the cords run up the wall where I was then able to cover them with thin tubing. I bought 4 of these cases separately and have been using one of them for about a year with no problems. Now I've plugged in a thick NXT extension cord and a thick Apple computer cord, and nothing on the lid itself has jumped out and broken, it hasn't come loose in the outlet at all, and most importantly, the cords have stayed out of reach of the buns. This product is very easy to install (takes 1 minute). If you're having trouble screwing it in, it's most likely the wrong screwdriver or poor wall design around the outlet, not the product (this happened in my dorm room, but not my apartment). Remember that you need some space around the outlet. It can be difficult to have a space with a lot of furniture in front of the outlets. However, this is just the nature of socket/card protection. I plan to order more of these in the future if they ever stop making them (please never stop!).
