My pump whined after 200,000 miles. I replaced that Reman pump with an Og pump. Looked great, worked great, still works a few months later. Make sure you flush out all of the old fluid prior to installation, otherwise any contamination from a busted old pump could shorten the life of your new pump if not killed immediately. After removing the old pump, I lifted the front of the car and moved the rack left to right to remove the old fluid before installing the new pump. Added liquid, turned the steering wheel (without motor operation) from left to right to release air. Then we started the engine face up, removed the oil cap, and slowly turned the steering wheel left and right to deflate. NOTE: Turn off the engine before adding fluid to avoid snagging on the belt. Good product.
