Great shoes. Break it up by walking 2 to 6 miles before running to create folds for foot movement. Fits perfectly around the ankle, the padding is good and right where I need it most. I run long distances with flat feet, but I also do a lot of short runs. This is for people with flat feet who were born with flat feet or who are used to having a flat foot arch and are NOT trying to repair or strengthen the arch of the foot. These shoes are great for walking, jogging and long-distance running. I am a 5'7" female and weigh 150 pounds. They fit me perfectly.
