Review on Indulge in Caswell-Massey Heritage Tricorn Bar Soap - 5.8 Ounce Luxe Soap for Superior Pampering by Laura Mason

So I decided to give this highly acclaimed men's soap a try. I personally liked the brown soap. Reminded me of the smell of fresh cedar wood. The problem was that my girlfriend and daughter couldn't stand the smell. So this soap is over. The dark gray bar is great, maybe for my girlfriend. Too sweet and floral in my opinion. The brown smell is great, but strangely it lost all of its flavor after the first use. I really couldn't detect any smell when it's after. I even brushed it for a good minute thinking it might reactivate the smell but unfortunately it didn't. Also, when it originally worked, it didn't smell as strong as the other two. It appears to be 50% weaker in smell. What really made this an absolute disappointment was that it was the only soap in the set that my girlfriend and daughter really liked. So my experience was good and bad. As hyped as these soaps are, I can't believe what was a win-win for me didn't smell like a shower with it. I never expected any soap to appeal to me at all, but I figured why not try them and roll the dice. Maybe I just got a bad bar of soap, but I don't want to pay that much to try again.
