Review on 🔧 Vincos CS9293 Conversion Gasket Set: Lower Gasket Set with Oil Pan Gasket Seals for Explorer, Mountaineer, Sport Trac, Ranger, B4000 - 4.0L V6 (97-04, 98-04, 2001-2004) by Nathan Kumar

I returned a gasket kit for a '08 Ford Explorer 4.0 SOHC. Cardboard seals for water pump and front timing cover. The seal that came with the replacement water pump was much smoother with less stamp distortion. No comments on the front and rear main seals. The lower oil pan gasket didn't seem to have a problem and I'm sure it would have worked just fine. For this reason I'm increasing my rating by one star. The upper oil pan gasket is very bad. I didn't even want to accidentally use this gasket so the kit was sent back. Huge rear crankshaft gaps depression. And it would be foolish to risk and jerk the engine again to save money (see pics). The BLUE pad was a Fel-Pro that I bought after noticing this problem. I felt much more confident with the Fel-Pro seal, it fit much better than the factory seal. The Fel-Pro also had a much more pliable gasket material. The return went smoothly and I received a full refund.
