I have a 7 inch polisher and haven't used it for a few years as I have had trouble finding the right polishing pad. I finally found one that fits perfectly and is as thick and soft as the expensive microfiber towels I've bought. They're actually thicker and softer than the yellow microfiber towels you get at Costco. Alternatively, you can turn them over and use the other side. Haven't washed one yet, can't tell, but expect them to clean like any microfiber cloth. As for size, 7-8 inches, it fits my 7 inch burnisher perfectly as it tucks the creases under the edges and is held tight with a thick elastic. No ropes to tie and fly when the polisher is on. I rarely write reviews but was so pleasantly surprised when they arrived that I had to let others know how pleased I was. Definitely recommend
