Only 1 star because the item produced the Check Engine light. GM CAGS (Automated Gear Selection) system Cons: Contrary to Revain's claims, the check engine light came on. Ordered a new one from a Revain third party called "Emblemz" and filled it out by Revain. The part was installed on a 2018 Camaro 1SS with 6 speed manual transmission. The car is in original condition, no tuning, no modifications, no keys on the OBD II port. The device is properly installed in the correct connector [NOT the incorrect reverse connector on the rear of the transmission]. There was no CEL during installation, but the Check Engine Light came on and stayed on after about an hour of mixed traffic (highway/highway). This item actually prevented the CAGS system from locking up 2nd and 3rd gears, but since it produced a permanent Check Engine light it had to be removed and the ECU reinstalled to clear the CEL.
