It is so easy. Be sure to avoid using a wrench.
Transmission pan gaskets are the toughest of all. 10-12 foot-pounds of torque is normal and can be achieved by any normal person hand tightening a deep well clutch. (seriously) use a deep socket wrench to hand tighten the screws only. Then fill the gearbox as indicated on the container. Hand tighten the screws to stop any small leaks that occur. It is so easy. Never use a wrench to tighten these flat head screws.
