I connected it to a Hubitat hub, not an Aquara hub, so that's probably affecting my experience with the device. It's REALLY cute and fun, but its use is somewhat limited if you have to consider the device's "fatigue" (some actions don't work reliably). I use it as a small power cube - I used to do vinyl labels. with my Cricut for each page and use the "Knock" function to set a variable to show up in my toolbar so I can use it as a task counter. The "knock" feature seems least likely to be triggered accidentally. You need to plug it in where you want to use it, not move it. otherwise, it loses connection with the hub and needs to be paired again. It is also not compatible with some Zigbee repeaters according to some community support threads. So if you don't know if your extenders are compatible, you need to make sure they connect directly to the Hubitat and are not routed through an unsupported extender. If you don't, it has to be constantly re-paired. I wouldn't use this to run critical functions or functions that might thwart misfires. That said, it's a nice little part of the conversation.
