I've read bad reviews about the Effacera dissolving pads but thought I'd just use the SB pads in the Effacera stick. I decided to try Effacera pads on my regular home toilet to see how bad they are. I expected it to fall apart immediately. That didn't happen. It worked great! I cleaned the toilet, all under the rim. I left it in the water and grabbed my mom who was gone and showed it to her AGAIN while cleaning the bowl. The pad held up well and dispensed a pleasant, low-odor liquid (I don't want strong-smelling cleaning fumes anyway). In fact, there was no destruction of the block. To be clear, I didn't have anything dry on my bowl that needed a deep cleaning, but I did a good job taking my time and double checking the bowl to see when the pad would fail. I give these pads two thumbs up because they did a good job and they will be perfect for my toilet on wheels.
