I bought a house with a septic tank a year ago and needed to look for safe products. It is a safe (non-bleaching) toilet cleaner. I've been using them in both of my bathrooms for a year now and they wear great! I've seen reviews saying they're cheap etc. Not sure what you're talking about. The wand and replacement pads work perfectly. As with anything, if you need to REALLY deep scrub, get a sponge. But for weekly cleaning, they're great, comfortable, and safe for septic tanks! I recommend.

This toilet cleaner is very easy to use. I hung the "stick" on the back of the toilet and it is very unobtrusive. The handle feels solid and grips the cleaning pad well. The pad is very thin, and while it washes off easily, I found it didn't overly discolor or dry out the material. I'm going to squirt my regular toilet bowl cleaner into the bowl and then scrub with it. At least I don't have a disgusting brush in the bathroom and I'm glad.

Do not buy. While the idea is sensible, this is one of those purchases where as soon as you open it and hold it in your hands, you know you're going to kick yourself for throwing your money away. Cheap flimsy plastic doesn't give you enough power to put in the effort to clean, but like a stiff hard brush. Worse, the pads are so small you'll end up scratching the toilet with a piece of cheap plastic! I ended up using the supplied latex gloves to hold the cleaning pads to wipe down the toilet…
