These pillow covers are fabulous but they do arrive a bit squished and matted. Some reviews have mentioned brushing the faux fur to smooth it out but I found that using a blow dryer on them for a few seconds did the trick and without the risk of losing any of the fur in the brush. One of my pictures shows one of the pillow covers before the blow out and one after the blow out- big improvement and so easy! I used an old standard size feather pillow that I no longer needed to create two smaller pillows for my Maltese babies. I cut the old pillow down the middle, sewed the edges, and put each half of the pillow into a 12 x 20 pillow cover. (I bought mine in a set of 2) These pillows turned out so soft and beautiful that I almost decided to use them myself….almost! But how could I not give them to my sweet babies? They absolutely LOVE these soft furry pillows, as you can see by their picture!
