I took these collapsible water bottles to Disneyland and thought I'd fill them up at drinking fountains along the way. We averaged 10 miles a day in the park for three days, and water is $4 for a 16-ounce bottle. The problem with bottles is that they are too small. They hold 12 to 14 ounces. They don't fit in a regular bottle of water. I ended up taking 3 of them just for myself. And they are difficult to fill in regular drinking fountains. I had to fill it up a little and then crush the pouch so I could pour more water in. The bottle filling stations are great for refilling, but they were few and far between. We ended up using Smart Water, liter bottles, carrying just one for each person and filling the fountains with water. They even worked better with traditional fountains. I'm not sure what they are good for. I think if you store them empty and have limited space.
