Review on Chocolate Men's New Balance M1300V1 Walking Shoes - Athletic Footwear by Dan Venegas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I ordered a half size longer and wider but they still pinch my legs. NOT recommended for the elderly.

These are the worst New Balance shoes I've ever bought. I have a retiree with a Morton toe (the second toe is longer than her big toe) and bought shoes that were a half size larger and a size wider than my foot size. Seniors tend to want stiffer shoes with more stability. Even after a few lace adjustments, these shoes burned my feet and were uncomfortable to wear, especially on long walks (>2 miles). New Balance used to make exactly the kind of shoes I needed, but I think they're aimed at a younger audience. Definitely not recommended for those who need stability in the shoe.

Pros
  • The shoe's chocolate and black color combination is stylish and versatile, making it suitable for a variety of everyday activities and outdoor pursuits.
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide enough space for orthotics.
