so many choices but I'm glad I chose this conductor over others.

So far so good! I really wanted a cabinet attachment - I've made the same kitchens from Ikea a number of times and always drag my feet when it comes to installing hardware. However, I really didn't want to spend $200 on a premium machine when I only make a dozen grips three times a year; but I also didn't want to be a cheap prick and end up with a nuisance, a $10-20 piece of plastic junk that would only make me angry and sad. So I went with this one and I'm pretty sure it will work well and be durable as well. The entire structure is made of beautiful aluminum and steel, and the fit of the rails and thumbscrews feels tight, smooth, and positive. Doesn't move at all and doesn't move at all. Also comes with several spare bushings and thumbscrews which is a nice touch. The case is pretty thin and will require you to completely disassemble the tool to store it, but I'm not too concerned about the light frequency I'm using and given the affordable price point, it's a lot better than nothing. The only thing I don't like so far is that the font used on the vertical slide is different from the images, which indicates Chinese origins, at least to me. But basically this is an aesthetic nitpick and has nothing to do with functionality at all and that's the main thing and what makes it good.
