I love this linen sheet. I hate the inferior fabrics that are made these days, like microfiber. After spending hours online reading reviews, I came across one that mentioned linen bedding. We don't use a top sheet on our bed, my husband and I have our own comforters so we don't need a full set. I was a little hesitant at first but I knew linen is a fabric that has been used for generations and the cotton sheets we bought didn't hold up and I don't like microfiber which seems to be everywhere these days so I took the plunge daring . I wouldn't call this sheet scratchy when we got it, I would say it looked like starched fabric. The more times I washed it, the softer it got. I bought it in July 2020. I wouldn't mind if it didn't get softer with every wash. I liked that this is a high quality, well tailored, durable fabric. We had issues with the sheets getting accidentally punctured, no idea why or how, maybe due to the poor quality of washing machines they make these days to match the poor fabrics. This linen sheet has stood the test of time and holds onto our mattress without any problems. I feel good cool to sleep on. If I ever need a bed sheet again, I would not hesitate to buy bed linen again.
