Review on 💪 Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets - Maximize Magnetic Power by David Bott

I bought these for a purpose that I hoped would work. We have several bookshelves and have long used large, thin pieces of acrylic to protect the books on the lower shelves from cats trying to mark their territory. I wanted something where I could attach a magnet to a bookshelf, a magnet to acrylic and have them glued together so the acrylic stays in place. They worked too well. I didn't realize how strong they were and that I had to keep them some distance apart while working with the four magnets on the bookshelf. Several times I failed in this regard and the magnets were violently slammed into each other and some of them broke in two on impact. I take the blame for this; I see that they are not designed for this. Although it might have been nice if there had been some instructions/comments in the packaging regarding possible pitfalls for a damaged magnet. I found out and the magnets really work. They work so well that when connected to another magnet they are really hard to take apart. Another thing to know is to make sure your adhesive surface is clean, free of oils and dirt, and that you know exactly where to apply it. Glue works once; Move it and it loses most of its stickiness. If I need more of these I will buy them again without hesitation.
