I'll start with this - I hate these bulbs. I live in California where we have to install fluorescent ballasts in all new kitchen light fixtures. So when I moved to a new place, there were a lot of these lights. You can't get an adapter for them as they don't have a built in ballast like most bulbs (or maybe vice versa, not sure). I'm not installing new lights and I'm probably doing so in violation of the Code. However, they are great for what they are - they match my other bulbs in color temperature and cost significantly less than similar bulbs from other brands.
