I had never been a fan of leather straps. They always seem to be too stiff, don't fit well, look synthetic, etc. I basically had 1 or 2 I tolerated, because I hadn't found any better options. A bunch of others collect dust. Long story short, I'm really liking this one. It's not like a bit of leather with some other who knows what, it's just straight up soft comfortable leather. It looks and wears great. So I maybe just "didn't like leather" because I had never tried one like this. We'll see how it holds up.
