I was so surprised when I received it this Sunday! I sat down and read all the instructions, after that I wanted to plug it in to hear how much noise it makes. I'm in the process of researching and gathering everything I need for my new 38g tank so I just hooked up the hose (every 25ft of the new reel for example), hooked up the pump and the end into the plugged glass. Water. I switch the pump to the lowest speed and was amazed at how little noise came from the pump. I was even more amazed when I wanted to turn it on and found that it was already running at maximum speed, and I did so turning it down! Not a sound from this little miracle!
