. wanted because the sound of muffler removal was beginning to bother me), almost too quiet

Just added today to my fully stock 03 E39 540 and removing the muffler (with stock resonator) it has definitely cleaned up the sound a bit and made it quieter (which I wanted because with the Muffler the noise removal started to annoy me), almost too quiet. It's nice and quiet when you're fumbling, which is perfect for me, and you can hear it when you're sitting on it, but I wish I could hear it more. I'll probably replace the stock resonator with a 2.5" brushed stainless steel Magnaflow 10416 round muffler in hopes that it sounds a bit more aggressive but is still quiet.
