Don't let this product fool you like I did. ViewSonic would have you believe that this monitor works in both landscape and portrait modes. Well, it only happens manually. You rotate the monitor and your PC/application does not recognize the change. You must make changes to the settings manually. Every time you change them. And it took a week for someone from the support department to let us know that this was intentional. Find a replacement now.
