I Tried This Desk So You Don't Have To

I am a traditional and digital artist who has been looking for a multi-purpose desk that can serve as a drafting table but also hold my laptop and computer monitor. Most desks that suit all my requirements are $400 or more, so when I saw this guy on ebay for $120, I felt it was my duty to give it a shot.Pros:It was definitely a deskI was able to assemble it 90% of the wayAt the point to which I was able to achieve assembly, it could technically serve as a basic deskCons:The desk was a full 2 inches smaller on each side than the measurements specified on the websiteThe surface was damaged with several dings and scratchesThe metal and wood pieces were ill-fitting and difficult to assembleThe pre-drilled holes in the particle board were not drilled correctly, and I was unable to complete assembly using a screwdriverI had to make the decision to either rent a power drill from Lowes or pack the whole thing up and send it back. The death knell to this endeavor came when I realized that the dimensions didn't seem to match up to what I'd read on ebay, and sure enough the product I received wouldn't even have worked to hold my computer monitor, since the back portion was too narrow. So now I know, and now you know. Don't bother with this desk, unless you're willing to live with everything I listed above.
