The edges of the case are starting to peel off, maybe it's silicone but it feels more like chewing gum. The thread comes out and you can't hold anything in the inner sheath (the card doesn't slip forward). I doubt it will last a year. On the plus side, it's stain and dust resistant and can withstand small drops. The solenoid is surprisingly strong, so I appreciate the quality of the 'leather'. Update: It's been a month and a half since I bought these and my first screen protector cracked, luckily there are two of them! Second, the card slots have loosened which means I can no longer trust my cards to stay in place. They tend to slide, fall, or fly out when my phone isn't upright. That said, half the time I was afraid my credit cards would fall out and I'd lose them outside of my wallet.
