I don't usually write reviews for this type of product because I think they are basically the same. However, I took this wand to wash the dishes and dropped it, picked it up, dropped it, picked it up. Do you understand. The handle of this stick is made of transparent, relatively smooth plastic. What Scotch Brite must have failed to understand is that when smooth plastic meets soap and water, the item is difficult to hold. If this item was intended for non-aqueous, non-soap applications, I'm missing the point. That being the case, I don't see why the wand shouldn't have a different material or ribs to make it easier to grab when washing. I would not recommend this wand to anyone without worrying about dropping the wand while cleaning and never cleaning your favorite pan. Or buy and live with the disappointment, I don't care.
