We have a retired large hunting pony who has a metabolic disorder and sometimes needs to drink bute to relieve arthritis and leg pain. I don't like using Bute on a regular basis as it also has digestive issues in the stomach, which we also address. It was a great choice for him and didn't cause any indigestion.
