The only reason I gave it a good accuracy rating is because I'm a good tool operator. All alignments for the bass have been moved at least a quarter of an inch, the index holes made for the base front door are exactly such index holes. It doesn't mean you need a cabinet hinge kit, but if you don't you can't screw one of these in, it requires a number 6 pilot hole, not a gap but a pilot. As for the suggestion of using wax, you'll need about 4lbs lol that's a poorly made bass. I'm so disappointed in Bosch that I suggest they don't use a Chinese manufacturer for this base, it's not high quality!
