If he got it along with the camera, then I do not advise him to sell it, it is better to leave it for extreme sports, objects and as a landscape painter.
- Razor sharpness, focusing speed at the level of USM lenses, round aperture - the ability to get round bokeh (but this is mainly for macro shooting, since it has a low aperture). Not bad for shooting landscapes in good light, at a wide angle and a pressed aperture (in such conditions it is not inferior to fixes). Low cost.
- Dark, floating diaphragm, but for this money this is the norm.
