I like this camera, the price is great compared to, say, the new SimpliSafes! wireless camera. I bought this Geeni Cam to test before buying a few more and for the most part I love how it works with the app and captures most of the movement! Or I can turn it on manually and see if there's anything going on at the location of the cameras. I wish the mounting rack had better quality screws for outdoor wood surfaces. The ones that came with the camera were so cheap I couldn't even take them halfway into the woods until they picked them up. So be sure to get some GOOD screws (at least 2 for each camera) to ensure a secure fit! The battery seems to last a long time, of course that depends on how much traffic it monitors and ultimately how often it turns around. to switch on and off! And remember, outdoor cameras should only work with the app, they don't need to be connected to the whole system! So while I generally use the SimpliSafe system for my home's interior design; Window/Door/Motion sensors, a front door camera and a panic button to access the emergency surveillance system, these Geeni cameras are a great additional outdoor surveillance tool around your property!
